This review is from: NASAL IRRIGATOR
For several years I have used a Waterpik (with a nasal adapter) for nasal irrigation. I make my own salt mix, and it all works well. However, I travel a lot on business, and the Waterpik is too bulky to carry so I bought a portable Waterpik. It was pretty much useless, because it held only a low volume of solution, and its pressure could not be adjusted. So, it very forcefully squirted a large volume of saline solution up my nose -- uncomfortable and ineffective. So, I tried again. This time I bought the Nasaline ($7 + S&H from Ink-Link here on Amazon). It is fantastic. It is, basically, a 60 milliliter syringe with a silicone tip that fits onto your nostril. In the hotel (or wherever) I fill a cup with lukewarm water, tip in the required amount of salt, and draw it up & down a couple of times to ensure that the salt is fully dissolved. Then draw up a syringe-full, place it on the nostril, and press the syringe plunger with your thumb. Easy to control the flow-rate.
